The site is finally up. What a whirlwind it’s been getting to this point.
When we stepped into this project, our goal as filmmakers was pretty simple – be authentic. Actually, six months ago I would have said we were seeking truth, but I can’t toss that word around so casually anymore. The definition has changed.
Days upon days in that dark and quiet room – with the brave people who sat in front of our lens – will make you different. It changes you. And it didn’t matter what kind of Christians we were on the way in – it only matters that we became better ones on the way out.
We are all in desperate need of truth. And most of us encounter precious little of it – even in the relationships we consider intimate.
Don’t accept that. Tell your real story to God tonight, and tell your real story to someone else tomorrow. Trust us, it’s worth it.

stumble onto iamsecond.com through my twitter feed (twitter.com/diazjoel) from twitter.com/mclanea.
my wife and i have watched several of the videos. really nice stuff. will these testimonies end up on DVD’s?
joel, remains to be seen on dvds somewhere down the road. in the mean time, really happy that you find the films valuable.
Beautiful work and heart felt testimonies. I felt like I was is the room. Color and lighting is awesome. Great job guys.
Kudo for the work. You guys redefine what it means to “witness”. Love the centrality of the Gospel of Grace! I hope you will keep the site up. And if the DVD price is reasonable, I’d like to buy it too.
I love this site and have been telling everyone about it. I love the simplicity of these folks just stripped down to their moment, their “intersection” with God.
I, too, think the central message of grace is so amazing. I know I can nevre hear enough of it.
Thank you.
I wish I could view the website with my iPhone.
An iPhone version of the site is definitely being considered.
I love “I am Second”…amazing concept, beautiful design, powerful stories.
On the tech side…I haven’t seen a site load the high quality video you have streaming. I know it’s Flash but what are you delivering the Flash through? Did you modify your compression or find a media server that works well? Thanks.
Hey Ryan, we made the films but a group of out Austin, Texas called Simply Interactive programs the site. We deliver them as HD quicktimes, not sure what they do from there.
